Tockwith District Agricultural Society Ltd is a Company Limited by Guarantee and Registered Charity. The Show Society primarily exists to promote and advance for the benefit of the public the practice of agriculture, horticulture, livestock breeding and arts and crafts which are of educational benefit to the community, and, in the furtherance of this purpose, the Society holds an annual show.

In 2004, after 59 years enjoying the generosity of local farmers to provide us with sites to hold our Show, we purchased our own Showfield just outside Tockwith. Possessing a permanent base now permits us to embark on a rolling programme of improvements to make the site more suitable to a wide range of functions to support good causes.

We are always exploring ways to use our new Showfield to support other local charitable and community organisations.
